Candice is an accomplished science communications professional with over 14 years of experience in the scientific, technical and medical fields. She has held positions at Nature and Science magazines, and has spent the last eight years specializing in cancergenomics communications.
Dr. Nulsen earned a PhD in Molecular Biology and Genetics in 2000. Her core strength is translating technical information into language and ideas that can excite and engage potential donors, the public and other key stakeholders.
Dr. Nulsen has a broad science background and a proven and successful track record in bringing visibility to science organizations. Her largest and most recent project involved the content creation and delivery of over 1,200 pages for a new website for the Ohio State University’s nationally ranked cancer hospital.
